Jungle retreat center in Tulum hosting ceremonies, cultural immersions, and private experiences rooted in ancestral traditions.
Yura began as a jungle sanctuary in Tulum, a living space where ancestral traditions and eco-sustainable life were woven together day by day. That land shaped the way Yura gathers, honors wisdom keepers, and holds ceremony with integrity—a root that now travels with the organization wherever it goes. The space was created for retreats and intentional gatherings, nestled in the jungle just minutes from downtown Tulum. Founded by Ariê Yura, a community alchemist who works at the intersection of music, ritual, and regenerative systems, and Gabriela Andreea, whose practice weaves breathwork, meditation, and sensory ritual with feminine arts and devotional practices, Yura operates as a living network devoted to ancestral wisdom, ecological harmony, and conscious community. Rather than a resort or commercial wellness center, experiences here are shaped through relationship, context, and shared presence. The retreat center offers multiple formats: intimate private retreats for couples, founders, and small groups; open group retreats like the Deep Reset (a 3-day immersion focused on pause and release); and rare cultural immersions with Indigenous families from the Brazilian Amazon. The HUNI YAWA Immersion, held in February 2027, brings together the Huni Kuin and Yawanawa peoples for four days of ceremonies, traditional songs, and community life with approximately 15 participants. Accommodation includes five jungle cabins—Ixchel, Akna, Kin, Metzi, and Zyanya—each with king-size beds and private bathrooms, ranging from spacious to deeply secluded. Yura's mission is to honor ancestral wisdom and support the traditions, cultures, and wisdom keepers who carry it—connecting retreat centers, facilitators, and communities to cultivate ceremony, healing, and conscious living. The organization also operates YURA Earth, a network connecting retreat centers, local producers, facilitators, and communities across Europe and beyond to co-create carefully held retreats and cultural programs. The vision extends to growing a living network where ancestral lineages are uplifted, wisdom keepers are valued and supported, and eco-conscious living becomes a shared way of life.
