Restored 1680 manor in Dutch woodland for coaching, training, and conscious gatherings
Oohm is housed in a landhuis dating to 1680, set within woodland and walking grounds in Vogelenzang, between Amsterdam and Leiden. The restored manor provides multiple rooms suited to trainings, retraites, team coaching, and business gatherings—spaces described by visitors as serene, spacious, and conducive to both reflection and creative work. The venue's natural setting and quiet surroundings form the foundation of its approach: a location where the inner environment receives as much attention as the outer one.
The operation centers on three pillars. First, the physical space: modern facilities including meeting rooms, breakout areas, and audiovisual equipment, all housed within an architecture that visitors consistently note for its light and calm. Second, nourishment: healthy, locally sourced catering adapted to dietary preferences—vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free—prepared on-site. Third, service: a dedicated team led by Monique, whose involvement in planning and execution is noted across visitor testimonies as attentive and anticipatory, handling logistics so participants can focus on their work.
Oohm hosts a range of conscious practices. Visitors have held yoga sessions, mantra singing, and meditation retreats; workshops and trainings in personal development and organizational work; and energy work including constellations. The venue has served Lead by Presence (which offers workshops, trainings, and one-on-one coaching there since May 2023), corporate team days for companies including Tony Chocolonely and Procter & Gamble, and independent facilitators bringing their own programs. The combination of natural isolation and proximity to major cities makes it accessible for both day events and overnight stays, with accommodation recommendations provided by the Oohm team.
The venue describes itself as a space for "mission-driven companies that want to make impact," positioning the environment itself—the forest, the quiet, the restored building—as an active participant in transformation rather than mere backdrop. Hours run Monday to Friday 9:00–17:00, Saturday and Sunday 9:00–17:00, with kitchen service daily 8:00–17:00.
